โ€” Meet Henry, your guide.

Why a robin?

Robins are the first sign of spring. The fresh start after a long winter. That's how we feel about compliance training โ€” it was time for a fresh start.

The big training companies have been charging $25, $30, $40 for what's essentially the same state-required course. They padded it with upsells, "premium" tiers, and slow customer service. Workers and small bar owners ended up paying for marketing budgets and shareholder margins.

Robin Training is the alternative. One price. Honest course. Henry the Robin shows up in every module to keep things friendly, but the content is straight from MLCC's playbook โ€” no gimmicks, no filler.

Same training. A fraction of the price.

Every Michigan alcohol server course covers the same MLCC-required topics. We just charge what it actually costs to deliver.

Common questions.

Is this really MLCC-approved?
Robin Training is currently in the MLCC provider approval process. Our curriculum is built directly from MCL 436.1906 and the Dramshop Act requirements. We'll display our official MLCC provider number on every certificate once approval is granted.
How long does it take?
Most people finish in 45โ€“60 minutes. The course is six modules, each with a short quiz, ending with a 26-question final exam. You need 70% to pass. You can retake it for free.
Why are you so much cheaper than ServSafe or TIPS?
We're a small Michigan-based team with no investors to pay back, no national TV ads, no commissioned sales force. We built the course once, automated everything we could, and pass the savings to the workers and bars who actually pay for this stuff.
What if I fail the exam?
You can retake it as many times as you need at no extra cost. The questions shuffle each time. Most people pass on the first try.
Does my employer pay or do I?
Either works. Individuals can sign up directly. Employers can buy bulk access codes and distribute them to staff. We make both flows simple.
How long is my certificate good for?
Three years from the date you pass. You'll get a reminder before it expires so you can renew.
